When LED was first invented in 1920s, no one seemed having paid any attention to it. With the development of electronic industry, especially in 60s, displaying technology gained rapid growth. Many different sorts of displays were invented: PDP, LCD, LED, ECD, EPID.

 

Since 80s, display modes has been through different stages, with resolution from 320x320 to 1600x1250 and scan frequency from 15.7K to 150K, and emitting display technology are more and more applied in various sectors of industry. Especially when large-sized signs with enough brightness and wider viewing angle are required, LED display technology emerged.

 

According to a survey, 2/3 of the information taken by people is through their eyes. This is why display technology is enjoying rapid growth. LED display stands out because of its unbeatable advantages: high brightness, energy-saving, long lifespan, low voltage, weatherproof, stable performance, wide-viewing angle, colorfulness, simple operation, little limitation to its size and free from harmful radiation of UV and IR.
